Yujin Kim

I am a Research Scholar at the Music and Audio Research Laboratory (MARL) working with Dr. Magdalena Fuentes. My main research interests includes multimodal representation learning, open-source software, and explainability AI.

I received my master’s in Music Technology from NYU as a Fulbright Scholar, completing my thesis under Dr. Brian McFee. Before NYU, I studied jazz performance at Seoul Institute of the Arts and worked in Korea as a jazz vibraphonist and in K-pop music production.
